About
Emily Langridge is an internationally recognised musical theatre actress originally from Australia, currently based in Stockholm, Sweden. Emily speaks English as her native language with strong Swedish. She has performed in stage and screen productions in Australia, the Philippines, Singapore, Dubai, and the UK including highlights such as playing the role of Cosette in Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Les Miserables in Australia and internationally, and reprising her role of Cosette in a concert production of Les Miserables in the UK. During her time with Les Miserables, Emily performed in several charity concerts, including Beyond Miserables, with all proceeds going to Beyond Blue. She also performed on national television at the 2014 Helpmann Awards, Carols by Candlelight, and on the Today Show.
Emily has also played a guest role in Creeped Out! Series 2, a CBBC (UK) /DHX Media (Canada) television series filmed in Manchester, featured as a soloist in Amazing Grace, New York New York for Manilla Street Productions at the National Theatre in Melbourne, a national Christmas ad campaign,
in the ensemble of Oklahoma! for the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall in London (televised nationally throughout the UK and national radio), Gypsy with the Production Company in Melbourne, and Pirates of Penzance, also with the Production Company, and was the voice of the Curtain Law radio ad campaigns.
Emil holds a Bachelor of Musical Theatre from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, and an Advanced Diploma of Arts from the Australian Dance Performance Institute.
