Janilee is a versatile Swedish actor with a wide background in film and theatre. A recent graduate of ArtsEd, a top drama conservatoire in London, there she has mastered various acting techniques, including Stanislavski, Stella Adler, Uta Hagen, Lee Strasberg, Suzuki Method, Animal Studies, Meisner, and Shakespeare. At ArtsEd Janilee has especially excelled in Meisner technique, physical theatre and accent work, with additional skills in martial arts, stage combat, and stunts. Janilee's natural linguistic talents encompass fluent English, Swedish, and Spanish, along with conversational French and Italian, as well as having the ability to learn nearly any accent.
Her academic background also includes a degree in Film Production and a Certificate in Computer Science, which complements her proficiency in portraying strong, intelligent hacker-type roles. She has also proven to suit roles such as dark, mysterious types.
Recently, she performed on stage at the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Theatre as Cecily in "The Glove Thief." She will also appear in the upcoming feature film "Supergirl: Titans," set for release in 2025.
Currently based in London, Janilee holds full settled status in the UK and EU citizenship through Sweden, allowing her to work seamlessly across both regions.
