Petra is one of Sweden’s most celebrated musical theatre stars, known for her powerhouse performances in Grease, Fame, West Side Story, Cabaret, Chicago, Nine, Zorba, Billy Elliot, and more. She captivated audiences as Roxie Hart in Chicago—not only in Sweden but also on London’s West End and Broadway, making her one of only three Swedes to ever land a leading role on Broadway.
On screen, she starred as Anna Holt, the fearless detective in three seasons of Jan Guillou and Leif GW Persson’s acclaimed crime drama. She’s also appeared in popular TV comedies and major theatre productions, including Antichrist’s Miracles and The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant.
A versatile artist, Petra competed in Melodifestivalen with Tango Tango and lent her voice to Will Ferrell’s hit film Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga.
