Ylva Cecilia Waern has several years of experience working as a journalist, TV reporter and producer, both in the US and in Sweden. After graduating with a B.A. in mass communications (sum cum laude) from the University of South Florida she took an internship at NBC's local affiliate, Newschannel 8. Here, she followed Erin Andrews footsteps in the sports department, writing and producing news stories and as a field reporter/news anchor. She was later hired by various networks such as UPN 44 and Brighthouse 47. Following her move to Sweden, where she has mainly been active as an actress, Ylva has also been hired frequently as a TV host and reporter, by several networks in sports and entertainment, such as Cmore and Viasat Golf.
Prior to her career in film and television Ylva worked as a consultant for the Superbowl Taskforce Committee and the MTV Half Time Show, The NY Yankees and The Dan Marino Celebrity Golf Invitational.
