Joshua David Smith is a Los Angeles–based actor known for portraying powerful, emotionally grounded leading men. He stars in the thriller-noir feature Sierra Highway, directed by Bill Boatman, longtime cinematographer for Mariah Carey. His work also includes Good Boy, written and directed by William Yu (writer on Brilliant Minds and The Burbs), and Slayed By Divya, directed by Maximilian Carlson, whose feature Princess of the Row starred Martin Sheen and was executive produced by Morgan Freeman.

Originally from the North Shore of Massachusetts, Joshua began his career in front of the camera through modeling before transitioning fully into acting. He trained in Los Angeles with renowned acting coach Margie Haber, studied improvisation at The Groundlings, scene study at Berg and continues developing his craft with instructors including Margie Haber, Hamish Sturgeon & Christinna Chauncey.
