Ville Mellword is a Swedish actor based in Stockholm, with a diverse foundation in both film and theatre.
Ville’s recent work includes a leading role in the upcoming Swedish short film, ”Rotten”, where he played one of the main characters.
Currently, Ville is honing his skills at drama school, training at Kulturama’s two-year acting program, working under the guidance of experienced teachers and industry professionals. Prior to this he has received specialized training in film acting, for instance at Cinemantrix and workshops led by renowned casting directors.
Ville has embraced a broad range of acting approaches, from Stanislavski, method acting, and Meisner to physical theatre. Ville also has a thorough training in improvisation. He has developed his craft by embracing these diverse methodologies and is constantly developing, committed to bringing depth, spontaneity and authenticity to every performance.
In addition to his acting skills, Ville has training in stage combat. He has a drive for performing his own stunts, complemented by his athletic and acrobatic abilities.
Additionally, Ville has vocal training and is trained in voice both for stage and film, as well as singing.
